What roles can movies play when teaching with objects? How can the media "film" serve the objectives of object-based teaching and learning? Can video help sharing teaching practices? Or train the students’ mediation skills by shaping their editorial practice?
These questions, first raised during the Teaching with Objects working group session at the 2025 Universeum conference, will be addressed in a "hands-on" workshop at the Universeum conference in Coimbra on 25 June 2026.
Participants are invited to join us with their (phone) camera, a few reflections on their teaching or learning practices and their creative spirit!
The 2026 Universeum conference will address the topic "Legacies of Power: Shaping University Collections and Museums".
